Sloe Golf started out as a small passion project, simply making t-shirts, headcovers and other golf accessories for friends, family and myself. It has since become a more refined project, focussing on more authentic and considered golf design. In a world where tech and AI dominate popular culture, this project was born out of a want to hand-craft physical products and become more connected with traditional workmanship. I view it as an unfolding pursuit to learn new crafts and skills, embarking on projects for personal development and enjoyment and coming out the other side with tangible stock for others to take joy in. 

As a project, Sloe Golf affirms that there doesn't need to be a trade-off between functionality and aesthetics. Whilst we must acknowledge the place that contemporary golf attire has in our game, particularly in the professional scene, Sloe Golf chooses to champion vintage textures and silhouettes without compromising on functionality.

Using more traditional garment finishing techniques, all pieces are carefully hand crafted, using conscious materials where possible. A slow, studied approach has been taken - limited runs, small batch drops, one-off pieces, all illustrating the sloe vision.
